1. Yadagirigutta
It is a holy place well known for Lord Narasimha Swamy's temple located at around 65km from Hyderabad. It will take around 2hrs to reach the place considering normal city traffic.
Visiting Hours: Temple darshan starts from 7am to 9 pm excluding the Bhogam/Naivedyam timings i.e., 12.30 pm to 1.30pm and 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
In normal days it will take 30-45 mins for normal(uchitha) darshan. You can also make your darshan faster by buying a Seeghra(fast) darshan ticket @ prices 25, 101, etc.
2. Surendrapuri (Kunda Satyanarayana Kala Dhamam)
Located at 2km only from Yadagirigutta, this place is popular for Indian mythology theme park. This place is established by Sri. Kunda Satyanarayana to create awareness on Indian mythology.
Attractions: You will find many events of Hindu epics Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavata and nearly all popular temples carved out as beautiful sculptures. Mainly you will enjoy the Maya Sabha, Viswaroopam and Padmavyuha of Mahabharatha, Vaikuntam, Brahma Lokam and Kailasam very well. Truly useful kids who can easily understand and remember many holy events and epics. Unfortunately Camera and Cell phones will not be allowed inside. You will miss lot of camera clicks.

Conclusion: Nice places for 1 day out with family or friends. If possible try visiting Bhongir Fort on the return way to Hyderabad. Better to start at 7am in the morning to cover all places.
